Granny Square Christmas Picture

I've been wanting to make a crochet picture with a 'frame' also crocheted. So I did. I wanted it to look like snowflakes falling, and a snow covered Christmas tree. Plain and simple. I should have used something in the frame, like thin wood dowels, but I thought it would make a nice pillow too, which means doing the backside. Hmmmm, now I don't know what to do with it!

i LOVE your piece. i think it would be best as a wall hanging. you can just add a couple 'belt loop's on the top back and run a dowel thru and hang it. i love the dimensional aspect of it. very cool!
thanks for sharing.
