OMG I totally love the idea of the big heart box and red & pink wools. What a stunning gift idea, I think I'm going to copy this great idea of yours and give a hamper like this to my sister as she's never tried crochet before but I know she's going to love to start.
In fact I was thinking of making a cell phone pouch for my mom, she's just bought a Tracfone LG800G prepaid smart phone with a large touch screen and I don't want the screen to get scratched or shattered, as it cost her $50. maybe I should crochet 2 hearts one red and one pink, sew them together to make an unusual cell phone pouch and embroider a little girls face on there, with 'I love you mom' on the hearts.
What's great about having experience in crochet is that you can be more creative with some weird ideas.
