Happy New Crochet Doilies Year!

Happy New Year to everyone! I've been way behind on showing you all my stuff I've been making. I don't know why I can't just blog every day or so like everyone else does, but....I'm here now! :)
So here is what I've been doing lately. Doilies, and more doilies! Totally addicted to them:) I actually prefer thread to yarn now! Haha! After 10 or so years of yarny crochet, I just started doing thread work in September. It was hard getting used to the tiny needles and too small thread, but I've gotten over that now! I started with size 5 thread, and now use 10. Have some 20 to try but don't think I'd go smaller than that. I like my Susan Bates hooks in sizes 1.75 and the 1.50 best.

This pattern above and below is from a Crochet World magazine. Prefect pattern!
These are just a few, I have plenty more! Blogger won't let me load alot at once:) If you follow me on Instagram you might have already seen them....or will soon!

All of them are stunning! Great work! The two color turquoise/yellow is my favorite.I also became a doily addict. Then my yarn started yelling at me. Now I try a give them equal love. :)

Love ALL of your doilies, and you have made a bunch! I haven't been here in so long, I'm ashamed to say. So many people to keep up with! I love the pink one in the first picture. I made one just like it and gave it to my mother. Wish I'd kept it for myself now! Ha-ha. I seemed to take forever to make. I don't know if it actually did, or if I just wasn't in the mood or what. I'll try making another one for myself one day. I get on doily kicks too, and I think I prefer working with thread too. Thanks for the sweet comment. See ya!
